Pretty fonts generator: the styles that look best

"Pretty" fonts are mostly script and soft decorative styles: cursive 𝒫𝓇𝑒𝓉𝓉𝓎, bold cursive 𝓟𝓻𝓮𝓽𝓽𝔂, small caps ᴘʀᴇᴛᴛʏ and wide pretty. The pretty fonts generator on this page collects these styles in one list and adds a couple-name and monogram maker for the place they're used most: names.

    Cursive vs. bold cursive

The two script styles come from different parts of Unicode and behave differently. Bold cursive (𝓐𝓫𝓬) is one complete set of 52 letters, so every letter has the same weight. Regular cursive (𝒜𝒷𝒸) is missing a few letters in the math block, and those are filled in from an older "Letterlike Symbols" block: ℬ ℰ ℱ ℋ ℐ ℒ ℳ ℛ and ℯ ℊ ℴ. On some phones these borrowed letters look a little thinner or larger than the rest. If a name like "Emma" or "Hamza" looks uneven in regular cursive, switch to bold cursive.

    Pretty couple names and monograms

Couple names work best with the same style on both names and a simple joining symbol: 𝓐𝔂𝓮𝓼𝓱𝓪 ♡ 𝓗𝓪𝓶𝔃𝓪. For a monogram, use initials only (𝓐 ♡ 𝓗). It's short enough for a highlight cover, a story sticker or the end of a caption. The maker above shows both, plus framed and dated versions.

    Pretty fonts for invitations

Copy-and-paste fonts are made for screens: bios, captions, messages and posts. For a printed invitation or wedding card, use an installed script typeface in a design app instead. Unicode script letters fall back to whatever font the printer's computer has, so the print rarely matches what you saw on your phone. The designs here are best for the digital side: the announcement post, the WhatsApp message and the save-the-date story.

    Tips for pretty, readable text

    • One pretty style per line. Pair a script name with a plain or small-caps second line.
    • Avoid all-caps in script. Script capitals are very ornate; a whole word in capitals is hard to read.
    • Soft symbols: ♡ ✧ ❀ and 𓆩 𓆪 suit pretty fonts better than heavy emoji.
    • Keep important details plain: venue addresses, phone numbers and links should stay in normal text so people can tap and copy them.

    Frequently asked questions

What are the prettiest fonts to copy and paste?

Cursive script (𝓅𝓇𝑒𝓉𝓉𝓎), fancy cursive (𝓟𝓻𝓮𝓽𝓽𝔂) and bold script (𝓹𝓻𝓮𝓽𝓽𝔂) are the classic pretty styles. Full-width aesthetic letters and small caps give a softer, more minimal look.

Will pretty fonts work in my Instagram bio?

Yes. All the cursive, aesthetic and small-cap styles paste cleanly into Instagram bios, captions, comments and story stickers. They also work in TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook and WhatsApp.

Can I use pretty fonts for wedding invites?

Yes, for digital invitations: paste the styled names into a WhatsApp message, an Instagram post or an invitation app. For printed cards, use an installed script font in a design app instead, because Unicode letters can print in a different fallback font.

Why does my pretty font look like boxes on someone else's phone?

Some very old devices or apps don't support newer Unicode ranges. Stick to cursive script, bold script or italic: these have the widest support across phones and browsers.

Is the pretty fonts generator free?

Yes, completely free with no signup, no watermarks and no character limit. Personal and commercial use are both allowed.
